Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click marketing are key to your business’ or organisation's online visibility. Whether you’re looking for short-term results or long-term consistency in your search rankings, we have the knowledge and experience to deliver. We work closely with all our clients, delivering SEO and PPC strategies that produce genuine results: on-time, and on-budget.

What is Search Engine Optimisation?

It’s all about driving more business through search engines such as Google. There are two sides to this - Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click advertising (PPC). We can handle either of these – or both, as an integrated campaign.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) technically refers to the process of making a website more search engine friendly. There are numerous techniques which can be implemented in order to help your site rise up the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs). They work by making it easier for search engines to find, index, understand and rank your site's contents in their results for relevant search terms. Organic SEO campaigns can be divided into two main categories; the work which is carried out on the site itself (on-page) and the SEO techniques which are executed off the site (off-page) for the benefit of your overall search engine optimisation efforts. We do the lot, on-site, off-site, Pay Per Click campaign management.

What is Pay Per Click Advertising?

The actual term ‘Pay Per Click’ means just that, it is paid-for advertising which is based on a charge each time someone clicks on your advert.

Pay Per Click adverts can be found at the top of search engine results pages, normally within a slightly shaded area. Quite often you will see three adverts at the top of your page, but this can vary depending on how many advertisiers there are and what the search query is.

The most popular platform for PPC advertising is Google AdWords. For the majority of businesses we recommend making a start with this and expanding out to other systems as and when you are ready.

The way PPC works is similar to that of an auction – you bid on what are called ‘keywords’ (essentially search phrases which potential customers might enter in to their search engine) and tell the search engine how much you are willing to pay to appear in a particular position on the page. You are then competing against other companies who want to appear on the page for the same keywords. There are many other elements which impact where you appear and this is what's experience will work hard to reduce the cost you pay for the position you want to appear at and the enquiries/sales you want to achieve.
